Due to knitting projects, holiday bustle and a big focus on fitness, I have been lax on posting, tweeting or facebooking. Here is my first FO for the new year! A baby blanket for Mr. E's baby. We were supposed to have the baby shower today after school but we have a snow day today. I found this great pattern for a textured blocks baby blanket courtesy of jupe's YARRRRN blog but modified it for the loom so I wouldn't have different sized blocks to seam together. Our next step: Use the inquiry process to explore all types of resources to find the meaning of the word: human, print, online, multimedia.

This is a cute craft idea to make with elementary kids. Have kids write a description of their turkeys or the steps they took to make them when they are finished.

I usually make the delicious Cooking Light Green Bean casserole as a side dish for Thanksgiving. Yesterday I caught snippets of 5 ingredient Fix on the Food Network and there was a recipe for Sauteed Green Beans with Garlic Chips that I can't wait to try. I think we're having this instead of the casserole this year.

That's what it says on the packaging for Ubisoft's Just Dance Kids. I played this with my kids tonight and it really does give you a workout. Great fun for the whole family. I'd like to get the other Just Dance games, too. If you have little ones, Just Dance Kids has favorites from The Wiggles and Yo Gabba Gabba. -Great way to have fun and burn off some energy!
